RUCOMIN

Powdery Additives

CONTACT US

The RUDOLF GROUP produces powder additives for the use in dry mixtures, which are mixed with water before use. The silicone water-repellent additives, defoamers and rheology auxiliaries can easily be mixed with other powdery raw materials like sand, cement and plaster.

RUCOMIN® B-PW

  • water soluble
  • excellent water repellence
  • does not influence permeability to water vapor
  • high early water resistance
  • creates a beading effect
  • low soiling tendency

Addition level and application: Required quantity: 0,1 - 0,5 % (calculated on total formulation)

Chemical description: Silanes / Polysiloxanes on a water-soluble carrier

Active substance: 100 %

Solvent:

Appearance: Yellowish powder

RUCOMIN® B-PM

Defoamer in powder form for mineral construction material mixes, e.g. premixed plasters, mortars, joint fillers, screeds and powder paints

  • highly effective
  • silicone free

Addition level and application: Required quantity: 0,1 - 0,5 % (calculated on total formulation)

Chemical description: Blend of liquid hydrocarbons and emulsifiers on an inorganic carrier

Active substance: 30 %

Solvent: Water-insoluble

Appearance: White powder

RUCOMIN® B-RE 95

Improves in gypsum-based dry-mix systems key properties as workability and productivity of the wet mortar, setting properties and adhesion on critical surfaces

  • especially suitable for gypsum
  • excellent water binding and water retention ability
  • rheology control of the wet mortar
  • no adhesion of the wet mortar on the trowels, therefore clean tools
  • excellent suspending and stabilizing of the mineral components
  • excellent alkaline resistance
  • long open time
  • high stability of the wet mortar on vertical surfaces
  • crack-free setting

Addition level and application: Required quantity: machine and hand applied plas-ters based on gypsum: 0,1 – 0,3 % putties based on gypsum: 0,3 – 0,8 % (calculated on the dry weight of the masses)
